Fantasy Make-Up Pt 1

Today I just thought of showing you two of my fantasy make-up looks, since I haven't been really testing anything new to talk about. Quarantine got me dealing with a lot of things in my life, so far I didn't have as much time for make-up as I would've expected. So, without further of due, here is a darker witchhouse inspired make-up, and a glittery Little Mermaid inspired look! Which one do you prefer?

Sparkly Pink Make-Up time!

Hello, Dears! Just like with many other things, I like to jump from one extreme to another when it comes to make-up; sometimes natural, sometimes gothic and gloomy, and sometimes extremely vivid and colorful. For this make-up, I chose the colorful side of my kit. It was very quick to do, you can find details on the products and brands used HERE !

Spring Make-up with all different brands!

When wondering what make-up look to create that day, have you ever been inspired of the freshness of early spring? The blossoms and first flowers?
I know I have, and this would be the perfect example! I also chose to dip into all different brands for each product, just for the heck of it. You can find the product list used for this look HERE

Frosted Look with Jeffree Star Blue Blood Lipsticks

I think the fact that I like playing with cosplay-ish, fantasy looks is not a secret anymore. Thus, this look was created as an exercise for imagination, with lots of glitter and of course, with the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Mini Blue Blood bundle! I tried two slightly different ombre lip designs and two different eye colors, let me know which look you like best:

Random Glowy look

Stumbled across this pic of a half-faced makeup look I did. This was some modern Egyptian-inspired side. 💮 Sorry about the bad photo quality, but I had no other way to immortalize it at the time!
I remember the highlighter was the one and only gorgeous MAC Mineralize Skinfinish.

CLARINS Everlasting Foundation+

It's been a while since I reviewed anything! I must say, I kinda' missed it. For today, I chose the foundation that I am currently using most of the time: Clarins Everlasting Foundation +
As some of you might have noticed, when it comes to personal use, I don't mind using the extremely affordable brands that, despite the low price, do not lack in quality or quantity. I love experimenting and playing with make-up of all price ranges! I sometimes grab pigments, glitters and highlighters from random little corner shops or even aliexpress! I would never use them on my customers, but my own room is full of nick-nacks.
However, when it comes to something that stays on the whole face for hours, like skincare products, primers and foundation, they have to be good in all ways. This is why I have purchased this product a few months ago, so I had some time to test it even for full workdays.

Pros:
- has medium towards high coverage
- feels lightweight
- SPF 15, which made it good for winter
- a little goes a long way
- stays put throughout the whole day if set
- packaging feels luxurious and sturdy
- comes with a pump, which is a plus for hygiene

Cons:
- the surface is kinda' dewy/sticky if not set with a finishing powder
 - the price: 44$
- if you have the slightest bits of dead skin, it makes it look more obvious (eventhough most foundations can do that, so I'll go easy on this little guy)

This is one of the looks I did using this foundation, but it is of course a full-face make-up:

It is a good product for sure, however, I think I'll try another one from the same price range after finishing this one. Anything you would recommend? :D

Make-Up Artists - Destruction and Disaster! 😱 part I

If you are a make-up artist who wants to go out of their way and show their customers flexibility and adaptability, you surely know what it is like working in chaotic environments. When your customers are preparing for an important event such as a wedding, baptism or funeral, they are all stressed, rushing for time, noisy and curious at the same time. Ok, morbid jokes aside!
You will absorb all of that energy and will still need to keep a steady hand. Sometimes, while you are focusing on your work of art and everybody else is focusing on everything else, the children can have access to things they shouldn't have access to. Like your make-up kit.
I would like to present the first product of many, that got into the wrong little hands and returned from war wounded:

Oh well! Here you can see a look I created with this palette back when it was still not tarnished, hehe! In artificial and natural light:

Also, my first test video on my YouTube Channel was for this very look. I will totally update my filming tools, but meanwhile, please subscribe if you like my poor-quality test vids so far!

Make-Up Revolution - by Petra X palette

This palette presents so many possibilities of looks, it's crazy. Being a busy bee, I haven't had the chance to play with it as much as I wanted to, but hopefully that will change soon! The sooner, the better.
To me, Make-Up Revolution is a "controversial" brand, meaning some palettes/ shades can be really pigmented, some can be too sheer. I find that, in this particular palette, almost all of the shades are really pigmented, especially the matte ones. Here's a look I created with the by Petra X palette, and below, you can see some swatches done on a thin layer of primer.

Swatches:

What is your favorite Make-Up Revolution palette?

Unicorn Hearts everywhere!

I love unicorns in every shape or form, I really do. Even if everything unicorn-related is kinda' cliche nowadays, in this case I can get over the "trend" part and enjoy it.
I Heart Revolution came up with this Unicorn Hearts palette which is in their same playfully-themed, whimsical line. In my opinion, you do need some Fix+ and/or primer to bring out the best of it, even the sparkly shades. However, I can totally say it is worth it! Below, you can see a look I created with this palette, also some additional swatch videos on my Instagram !

What is your favourite I Heart Revolution product??
