Haul & swatches: AVON Ultra Color Absolute Lipsticks

Was really curious about these Avon lipsticks, so I ordered these 3 shades...for now! I am so happy I did! I'll leave you with these swatches, review soon! :)

Am fost foarte curioasă de această gamă de rujuri Avon, aşa că mi-am comandat aceste 3 nuanţe...deocamdată! Şi mă bucur foarte mult că am profitat de reducere şi le am în posesie! Vă las cu aceste swatch-uri, review în curând!

Review: Avon Perfect Kiss ~ Berry Smooch

   Now, here's another product I love and discovered these past few months. Actually, it was a present I got along with an Avon order. It also had a matching nailpolish, but since I don't really wear this kind of shade on my nails, I gave it to someone as a present. I did keep the lipstick, because I actually like the shade (wich I didn't expect). I thought it would be more pinkish, but it surprisingly matches me, my style.

Azi vă prezint un alt produs descoperit în ultimele luni. De fapt, a fost un cadou pe care l-am primit împreună cu o comandă Avon. Mai era şi o ojă care se potrivea cu rujul, dar, cum eu nu prea port asemenea nuanţe pe unghii, am făcut-o cadou. Rujul l-am păstrat, deoarece chiar mi-a plăcut nuanţa din prima (nu mă aşteptam). Credeam că va fi mai rozulie nuanţa, dar în mod surprinzător, se potriveşte cu al meu stil :D

Here are some swatches. I wanted to show that, depending on the light, the shade changes a bit. Also, depending on the number of layers (I applied 2 layers in the pics below). And even so, my camera didn't help me much in showing it's real color. It is a bit less bright-pink than in the pictures, I can't really describe it, but soon I'll do a look using this as the lip color, and hopefully you will be able to identify the actual shade better.

Aici aveţi câteva swatch-uri. Vroiam să vă arăt că nuanţa se schimbă puţin în funcţie de lumină (şi numărul straturilor aplicate; în pozele de mai jos, am aplicat 2). Chiar şi aşa, aparatul meu nu m-a prea ajutat să surprind adevărata nuanţă; e mai puţin "roz turbat" decât se vede în poze, nu prea ştiu cum s-o descriu, dar plănuiesc să fac în curând un machiaj full, folosind acest ruj pe buze, şi atunci sper să-şi arate adevărata faţă :P.

Pros/ Plusuri: 

- creamy, but not the gross kind of creamy; the perfect, smooth kind of creamy! :)

- pretty long-lasting

- pretty packaging

- nice smell, to me it seems coconut-scented

- the price: around 16 Ron maybe?

- cremos, dar nu genul de cremos-dezgustător; ci tipul de ruj soft-cremos! :)

- destul de rezistent

- ambalaj frumos, elegant

- miros plăcut, mie mi se pare că miroase a cocos :D
- preţul: în jur de 16 Ron, parcă?

No cons from my side! Will buy some more Perfect Kiss lipsticks in the future./ Nu are minusuri din partea mea! Cu siguranţă voi mai cumpăra câteva nuanţe de Perfect Kiss pe viitor.

June Empties

   Since I keep seeing these kind of posts all over beauty blogs, I have decided to start showing you the finished products monthly. Here are some that I've finished during June:

- L'Oréal Elséve Volum Colagen shampoo & conditioner - I only have a bit of conditioner left, I've had them since winter and just finished them :'( truth is, I don't use them constantly, since I alter hair products often, I use it in parallel with some medicinal ones. But these give my hair a definite boost, which it really needs. It's pretty damaged, but on the way of recovery finally. Gives it volume, shine, flexibility... Perfect.

- Balea Face ...ok, I wish I knew how to translate this correctly...face water? This is a step I complete my make-up remover with, using it after the make-up remover itself. I love what it does, removes all sorts of impurities that might still linger on the skin. I also use it a few times a day individually, especially now, during summer, because, besides the refreshing feeling, it cleans the face of dust, sweat, etc. which gather up quickly in this time of the year.

- Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Skin Cream - just like some other products I have and like, I used this on different dry areas and it worked wonders for me. Particularly about two months ago, when I literally fried in the sun and my skin started peeling off very harshly, this baby, along with a honey based cream, fixed it!

- Vichy Aminactif Combleur - after being disappointed by some Vichy products, and loving some at the same time, I've decided it's a fair enough balance, so I tried this product after somebody recommended it. I can say it really improved the quality, and even the quantity of my hair, reducing my hairloss problems a lot. I might buy it again after a break and continue the treatment. Meanwhile, I'd be curious to try Anian Liquid Keratin!

- Avon Senses Tropics body scrub - If you've been following my blog, you've seen in a previous post how much I love this! I usually have a back-up tube of this and now...this was the back-up tube :(( need to get another one as soon as possible, and maybe try other scents as well...recommendations? :D

- Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder...I talk about this prouct all the time :D As you can see, I dropped it recently, but I am almost out of it. Needless to say, I have a back-up of this too.

- Seventeen eyeliner pencil in Black - since black eyeliner is the most important item in my entire make-up kit, I have a bunch of them. This is my favourite at the moment, intense, easy to work with and it can be easily sharpened, even if I dropped it countless times an carried it around, it didn't get damaged. Need another of these.

My first NOTD post - Avon

   As far as I've noticed, many of us are also passionate about our manicure, along with face make-up and bodycare :D I almost constantly have my nails painted, usually in either a dark shade (-most of the time) or if it's a vibrant color, it's most likely a more unusual one.
   The color I picked for my nails today is a pretty interesting one and it's good for both a more rebellious look (like mine) but can be very elegant as well. It's Avon Nailwear Pro in Wicked. For a sucker for dark colors as I am, this is a perfect nailpolish. It is like a suuuuper dark (almost black) reddish brown. In certain types of light it looks black almost, though it contains very tiny discrete red shimmer particles, to reflect the light. So I could maybe say it is an extremely dark bronze towards rotten cherry sort of color, but it's too hard to explain so I will leave you with some unsuccessful pictures :D

Favourite Body Scrubs

   As this blog is not focused entirely on make-up, I wanted to share two of my favourite bodycare products. I love body scrubs in general, they give a feeling of rebirth or so :P My first favourite is this shower gel with body scrub function, by Bourjois, with jojoba oil and lily. The scent is fantastic, it has a thick and creamy consistence, with tiny grains to do the peeling part. It hydrates the skin, removes dead skin cells, and leaves the skin truly soft and silky, and firm. I will need to purchase some other 'flavors' as well, from this line!

   My other favourite scrub is Tropics by AVON Senses. Also lovely scent, I adore it, especially during summer. The grains are a bit bigger than in the previous product, it has a lighter consisence though. I don't use this one daily since it is a bit more radical, usually just once a week, sometimes more often. I am about to run out of the second tube I bought already, and will surely keep on buying it.
