Was really curious about these Avon lipsticks, so I ordered these 3 shades...for now! I am so happy I did! I'll leave you with these swatches, review soon! :)

Review: Avon Perfect Kiss ~ Berry Smooch

Now, here's another product I love and discovered these past few months. Actually, it was a present I got along with an Avon order. It also had a matching nailpolish, but since I don't really wear this kind of shade on my nails, I gave it to someone as a present. I did keep the lipstick, because I actually like the shade (wich I didn't expect). I thought it would be more pinkish, but it surprisingly matches me, my style.

Here are some swatches. I wanted to show that, depending on the light, the shade changes a bit. Also, depending on the number of layers (I applied 2 layers in the pics below). And even so, my camera didn't help me much in showing it's real color. It is a bit less bright-pink than in the pictures, I can't really describe it, but soon I'll do a look using this as the lip color, and hopefully you will be able to identify the actual shade better.

Pros/ Plusuri

- creamy, but not the gross kind of creamy; the perfect, smooth kind of creamy! :)
- pretty long-lasting
- pretty packaging
- nice smell, to me it seems coconut-scented
- the price: around 16 Ron maybe?

- destul de rezistent
- ambalaj frumos, elegant
- miros plăcut, mie mi se pare că miroase a cocos :D
- preţul: în jur de 16 Ron, parcă?

No cons from my side! Will buy some more Perfect Kiss lipsticks in the future./ Nu are minusuri din partea mea!

Aaaand...GOSH HAUL + Velvet Touch Lipstick Review!

Hello, dears! I am behind on everything....EVERYTHING! This humble beauty-blog is just one of them, still I need to recover with a storm of posts and try to make up for the lost time. Let me tell you a few words about my absence; I attended an international theatre festival for about two weeks, from the end of November until the 7th of December, in another city (Cluj). It would have lasted a few days more, but I came home earlier for my boyfriend's birthday, which I wouldn't have missed for anything in the world. That lasted almost 4 days, in a warm cottage with some friends, food and drinks, and of course loud music! Then, I have tons and tons of work to get done on a huge pile of texts, which kind of takes up all my time, trying to improve my Swedish (alone) for a potential job, plus boyfriend-time. See, he was another one of life's extreme surprises. I was really stubborn about not getting involved with anyone for a while, and mind my own business which I have plenty of. We've known eachother for many years, at least 5-6. We've always had something going on and I always drooled over him and cared about him, but didn't think we'd work, for certain reasons. But now we found eachother again and I am happier than ever!

Ok, enough girl talk and gossip! Just wanted to update you girls. A few weeks ago, I received some products from GOSH Denmark. Needless to say, I love each and every one of them with all my heart!!

I was more than satisfied with the packaging, details can change a lot when it comes to forming an opinion, in my case! All the products were individually wrapped in beautiful black paper, and there was also a handwritten greeting card, cute! Here's what I got:

- GOSH Smokey Eyes Palette in 03 Plum
- GOSH Boombastic XXL Volume Mascara, black
- GOSH Catchy Eyes Mascara, black
- GOSH Velvet Touch Lipstick in 150 Kitten Pink

Review - GOSH Velvet Touch Lipstick

   So, one of the four GOSH products I got is this lipstick, I've decided to include the review of one of the products in this post, because it will be raining posts on this blog these days, hopefully. First of all, I must say that if I would've been asked to choose the products I want, I never would have chosen a pink lipstick. I don't use lipsticks too much, pink ones even less, since I am not really the pinkie type. But surprise! I actually like this one! There is one light pink shade that I can pull off, the warm-toned pink. I mostly apply only a little bit, dab it on a balm for just a tint of color and it's an amazing effect, especially with brownish smokey eyes. However, wearing it 'full-on' is also neat, let me tell you why;

The shade is nr. 150 Kitten Pink.

Pros:

- eventhough it's a matte, bright color, it doesn't make fine wrinkles or cracks obvious (cracked lips being very possible this season). On the contrary, I have the feeling it hides them

- nourishing and moisturizing, unlike most matte lipsticks I've tried

- it's creamy, yet it lasts very well!

- the packaging; it is simple and classy, matte black in combination with shiny black, and there's the GOSH logo engraved in the lipstick itself, which is an extra cute detail!

Cons:

- I am usually a bit disappointed when companies don't ask us to pick out the products they are about to send for testing, so in the beginning I thought I won't have much use of this lipstick, but I've discovered it's great pluses, so this was a con just initially, now I don't have any complaints!

Thank you, GOSH!

Have you tried this lipstick or any other GOSH products? x

Hello there, I hope you are all doing great today, despite the gloomy, cold weather! I am doing pretty ok, just can't seem to wake up too easily...Oh well! Today I would like to show you some goodies I got as a gift. About two weeks ago, some relatives from the USA visited, and they got me some awesome products. I'll just show you and maybe say a few words about them, but I'll properly review and use them in looks in the future, probably.

- 3 Laura Mercier lip plumpers
- a Laura Mercier lipgloss
- Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc
- an Artistry lipstick
- 2 Never Accept Ordinary pigments

LM Lip Plumpers:

LM lipgloss (this one is DELICIOUS, tastes like coffee!):

LM Shimmer Bloc:

Artistry lipstick:

Never Accept Ordinary pigments:

I didn't blend anything too much, didn't use primer either, just wanted you to get an idea about the color and consistency.

I'll get back with more details about these and will show you when I use them, but until then, please tell me your opinion! Have you ever tried these? Which would you be most tempted to try?

Mega lipstick review :D Sivanna and Manhattan

A while ago I bought a set of five Sivanna lipsticks from an auction site, and I can say I was pleased with them all in all, so I thought I'd do review of them, with a shitload of lip swatches, since I borrowed my cousin's camera today, which is better than mine, which means some of the pics actually turned out to be decent :P Here they are:
(*they are positioned in the same order in all he pics*)

Where should I start? As you could probably notice, they are all double-ended, one end is the lipstick part, the other end is a lipgloss in the corresponding shade. The lipsick part is brilliantly pigmented, really creamy too, but not the kind of creamy that will melt and stain anything at the slightest touch. So it is the perfect combination between being creamy yet solid enough and very pigmented. The lipgloss has a light consistency, which means it doesn't give that disgusting super-heavy glaze of gloss, but it keeps the look more natural and 'fruity'. It is also pigmented, though a bit sheer but that doesn't bother me at all, plus if you apply it over the lipstick, then alltogether it will have plenty of coverage anyway. And by the way, they all have this AWESOME melon taste!!
I haven't found the name of the colors, but they each had a number, Nr. 22 and 18 have shimmer particles. Here you have them, and the lip swatches (each with only lipstick first, and then with gloss over it).
22
25
30
18

29
Oh and sorry, my lips are kind of cracked because of the damn weather, and some of these shades accentuate that, especially with lipgloss over them. And I couldn't help noticing that the last one, nr. 29 looks A LOT like my long-lasting Max Factor lipstick that I've reviewed HERE .
And a bonus lipstick! :)) This awesome striking red by Manhattan
Again, can't find the name of the shade, the number seems to be 45G. It is VERY pigmented and shiny, so if you tend to use gloss over lipstick, let me tell you that you don't really need any over this one! It is rather lasting, but definitely not 'transfer-proof'. It stains everything it touches even if just slightly, and smears easily... Also melts quite fast, which is a bit of a minus for me, but the way it looks is irreproachable. I've been playing with the thought of doing a Dita von Teese inspired make-up, and of all the red lipsticks I have, I think I will be using this one! Some swatches here:
-natural light-
-flash-
Did you try any of these?
What I forgot to mention above: ALL of the listicks in this post are hydrating, and I really don't remember their price :-s Sorry! But they weren't very expensive anyway because I usually find good products at a good price instead of paying a fortune simply for a product's name :D

Cheers and colorful kisses!
