Review & Swatches: Lucy Minerals foundation and bronzer

I promised to come back with the  Lucy Minerals  foundation and bronzer, two products that I love so much.  To show you how great the coverage really is, I will first show you some pics without any make-up (just some liquid liner done in a rush). I have to specify that I picked this time of the month for this because these are those days when my skin seems to have a mind of it's own, turning red  with big pores and gets oily fast, occasional breakouts. Plus, I took the pics during morning after a pretty much sleepless night, aka dark circles and all that. Haven't even done my morning ritual yet with mattifying lotion etc. so my skin looks it's worst. Let's see what the foundation can do!

Am promis că voi reveni cu fondul de ten şi bronzerul de la Lucy Minerals, două produse pe care le iubesc mult. Ca să puteţi vedea ce putere bună de acoperire are, prima dată vă voi arăta nişte poze cu pielea nemachiată (doar cu puţin tuş aplicat în grabă pe pleoape). Simt nevoia de a specifica faptul că am ales perioada asta a lunii pentru că e perioada în care mă urăşte pielea cel mai tare, devenind roşiatică şi cu porii mari, se îngraşă repede şi tinde să mă surprindă şi cu câte-un coş de toată frumuseţea. În plus, am făcut pozele după ce m-am trezit şi nu am dormit prea mult, ca să am şi cearcăne, şi înainte de ritualul de îngrijire, înainte să mă dau cu loţiune matifiantă sau orice altceva, ca să-mi fie pielea cât se poate de plină de imperfecţiuni. Să vedem ce poate acest fond de ten!

NOTE: I haven't used any other product like concealer, primer or so, only the loose foundation!

NU am folosit nici un alt produs gen corector, primer sau ceva, doar fondul de ten pulbere!

Lasts very nicely and fades out evenly, without spots. Mineral make-up having all the well-known benefits on the skin, adheres to the skin quickly, leaving it looking natural and the coverage is perfect. Mousse foundation was my favourite foundation formula, but it's been recently replaced with loose mineral foundation.

Rezistă foarte bine pe piele iar după un timp îndelungat şi dacă trece prin mai multe, se "evaporă" uniform, nu lasă pete urâte. Machiajul mineral având binecunoscutele beneficii asupra pielii, aderă foarte repede pe suprafaţa acesteia, cu un finish natural, acoperire perfectă în acelaşi timp. Fondul de ten spumă era formula mea preferată în materie de fonduri de ten, însă de curând, fondul de ten mineral pulbere l-a cam înlocuit.

Review & Swatches: Lucy Minerals!

   Here are some of the wonderful Lucy Minerals pigments I got a few months ago! I have them in Try It Size and love them. Will only write about the ones that I use as eyeshadows and blushes now, my total love is the foundation and will review that separately together with the bronzer. Saving the best for last :) not that these aren't brilliant!

   Acestea sunt unele dintre minunatele produse Lucy Minerals pe care le-am primit cu câteva luni în urmă! Le am în varianta Try It Size şi îmi plac mult. Acum voi scrie doar despre pigmenţi, pe care le folosesc pe ochi şi obraji, marea mea iubire este fondul de ten dar îi voi face un review împreună cu bronzerul - ce e mai bun e încă pus deoparte, nu că acestea nu m-ar încânta :).

Juicy Peach and Matte Rose.

So! The first 3 I usually use on the eyes, the next 4 well....Diva on the eyes, and eventhough all 3 can be used as eyeshadows obviously, I think Sunkissed works GREAT as a highlighter, and Mocha Shimmer and Foxy as blushes/ tan enhancers (...Mocha Shimmer could be a superb highlighter for really tanned skin) but of course blended out! :P The last 2, Juicy Peach and Matte Rose can also be multifunctional, but I prefer them as blushes. Juicy Peach, eventhough it's pretty light and much more sparkly, it does wonders on my skin which is quite fair in the winter. Not too yellow not too pink, looks awesome! They both do!

Aşadar! Primele trei nuanţe le folosesc pe ochi de obicei, următoarele 4...nuanţa Diva o port pe ochi, şi, deşi evident pot fi şi celelalte 3 purtate ca fard de pleoape, sunt de părere că nuanţei Sunkissed i se potriveşte perfect rolul de highlighter, iar Mocha Shimmer şi Foxy ca blushuri/ pentru accentuarea bronzului (...Mocha Shimmer ar putea fi un highlighter de succes pe un ten mai bronzat) dar blenduite bine, normal! :P Ultimele 2, Juicy Peach şi Matte Rose pot fi de asemenea multifuncţionale, dar mie cel mai mult îmi place să le folosesc pe post de blush. Juicy Peach, deşi e o nuanţă destul de deschisă şi mai strălucitoare, face minuni pe pielea mea care e destul de albă pe timp de iarnă. Nici gălbuie nici prea roz, arată perfect! De fapt amândouă! :D

I didn't want to do a pros and cons type of review, since I like everything about them and pigments are really not something I can find something wrong with and I love using them! Thus, I am extremely pleased I was given the opportunity of testing some Lucy Minerals products, I didn't know what all the fuss was about at first,but I have fallen in love with mineral make-up after trying some! By the way, have you noticed the cute packaging?! :) Will be back soon with the bronzer and foundation!

Nu vroiam să fac o postare tip plusuri şi minusuri, nu îmi displace nimic la aceste produse, dimpotrivă! Oricum, nu prea ştiu ce aş putea găsi să-mi displacă la pigmenţi şi ador să le folosesc! Mă bucur mult că am avut ocazia de a testa câteva produse Lucy Minerals, iniţial nu prea ştiam ce e aşa mare scofală dar am ajuns să mă îndrăgostesc de mineral make-up după ce am încercat câte ceva! Apropo, aţi observat ambalajul drăguţ?! :) Voi reveni în curând cu fondul de ten şi bronzerul!

Lucy Minerals goodies!

   Heya dears! I got yet another package yesterday, from Lucy Minerals! Was anxious to get them, and I have to go to another city for packages that are delivered from outside the EU...but I went anyway, to bring my babies home. I was simply delighted to find so many mineral pigments, awesome colors, ALL of them! I swatched the colorful ones (blushes and eyeshadows) and they are divine, I promise you that! Also got a cute little handwritten card with kind words - LOVE these sweet details!! There are a bunch of foundations/powders, bronzers/blushes, and eyeshadows - two of them shimmery and one glittery (very interesting; dark red with turqoise glitter).
