Review: Yanqina Waterproof Liquid Liner

     Finally did the review on this liquid eyeliner I got from KKCenterHK a while ago, to test it. Like with any product, I like to give myself plenty of time to really see what it's like, for a better review. I am getting close to finishing this eyeliner. I own three at the moment (will make a comparison post of all 3, soon) and of all three, this has been my favourite one. It's not completely flawless, but it pleases me.

Am ajuns în sfârşit la acest review despre tuşul lichid pe care l-am primit spre testare de la KKCenterHK cu ceva timp în urmă. În cazul fiecărui produs pe care îl testez, am nevoie de timp pentru a-mi forma o părere şi pentru a putea scrie un review mai bun. Acum, acest eyeliner e pe terminate. Momentan am trei tuşuri (voi face o postare în care le voi compara) şi dintre cele trei, acesta este preferatul meu. Nu e absolut perfect, dar mă mulţumeşte.

Pros/ Plusuri: 

- the packaging is really cool, I like the black-pink-silver combination! The design is nice as well, not the classic liquid eyeliner bottle;

- the tip is perfect for me, since I don't really like the ones that are too thin, since it takes me forever to create a thick and precise line (that's what I prefer);

- the black is quite intense, which is also a must for me when it comes to eyeliners!

- dries fast

- persists very well

- the consistency can be a bit thick for some, but I prefer a massive eyeliner rather than watery :P

- ambalajul e foarte fain, îmi place mult combinaţia de negru-roz-argintiu! Şi designul îmi place, nu e sticluţă clasică de tuş;

- vârful e perfect pentru mine, nu îmi plac cele cu vârful prea subţire, îmi ia o veşnicie să trasez o linie care să fie şi mai groasă şi precisă (prefer linia mai groasă de tuş);

- e de un negru destul de intens, care e imperios necesar pentru mine, când vine vorba de tuşuri!

- se usucă rapid

- rezistenţă bună

- consistenţa e mai groasă, dar prefer un liner mai "masiv" decât un liner apos :P

Cons/ Minusuri: 

- once it dried and it's been on the lid for quite a while, tiiiiny dry pieces/particles can fall out, so you might need to retouch it...but that also depends on the circumstanes! 

- odată ce s-a uscat şi e de ceva timp pe pleoapă, se poate întâmpla să cadă câte o particulă neagră, iar atunci trebuie retuşat...dar asta depinde şi de circumstanţe!

Review: CUICU Flashing Diamond Eyeshadows

A while ago, I received a few products for testing, from KKCenterHK. Among them, there were these two babies that might not seem like too much at first, but I use them every single time I do my make-up!

Matte browns are a must for me, since I do lots of shading with them, and the bigger the variety, the better! Not only on the eyes, but also for face contouring (I actually use brown eyeshadows more than contour kits and such, then I apply bronzer, blush etc).

Cu ceva timp în urmă, am primit nişte produse spre testare, de la KKCenterHK. Şi aceste două minunăţii erau în pachet, poate nu par a fi cine ştie ce la prima vedere, dar le folosesc absolut de fiecare dată când îmi fac machiajul! 

Marourile mate sunt produse care nu îmi pot lipsi deoarece le folosesc mult pentru umbre, şi cu cât am o varietate mai mare din acestea, cu atât mai bine! Nu numai la machiajul ochilor, ci şi la conturarea feţei (chiar folosesc mai multe farduri de ochi maro în acest scop, decât kituri de conturare, apoi aplic bronzer, blush, etc).

My favourite is Nr. 12, since it's a warmer shade, the other one is a tiny bends a tiny bit towards a kaki shade. But I find maximum advantages in both!

Nuanţa mea preferată şi cea mai folosită e Nr. 12, e o nuanţă mai caldă, cealaltă parcă are o foarte uşoară tentă de kaki. Dar mă folosesc la maxim de amândouă! :D

Pros/ Plusuri: 

- their shades!

- the color payoff is not that intense, thus buildable color (which is a huge advantage in contouring and the risk of getting too much product on your face and having to start all over is almost zero)

- the price, I would pay 4.83$ per eyeshadow

- nuanţele!
- culoarea nu e prea intensă din prima, doar puţin câte puţin ajunge la opacitate (ceea ce e un mare avantaj la conturare şi riscul de a aplica o culoare prea intensă din prima e aproape zero)
- preţul, aş plăti 4.83$ pe un fard 

Cons/ Minusuri: 

- the shadows are a little bit chalky, so if you want an opaque color on the lids, applied layer after layer, it can look a bit uneven

- fardurile sunt uşor prăfoase, aşa că, dacă vreţi o culoare opacă pe pleoape, aplicând-o în câteva straturi, s-ar putea să iasă cam neuniform

Review: Avon Perfect Kiss ~ Berry Smooch

   Now, here's another product I love and discovered these past few months. Actually, it was a present I got along with an Avon order. It also had a matching nailpolish, but since I don't really wear this kind of shade on my nails, I gave it to someone as a present. I did keep the lipstick, because I actually like the shade (wich I didn't expect). I thought it would be more pinkish, but it surprisingly matches me, my style.

Azi vă prezint un alt produs descoperit în ultimele luni. De fapt, a fost un cadou pe care l-am primit împreună cu o comandă Avon. Mai era şi o ojă care se potrivea cu rujul, dar, cum eu nu prea port asemenea nuanţe pe unghii, am făcut-o cadou. Rujul l-am păstrat, deoarece chiar mi-a plăcut nuanţa din prima (nu mă aşteptam). Credeam că va fi mai rozulie nuanţa, dar în mod surprinzător, se potriveşte cu al meu stil :D

Here are some swatches. I wanted to show that, depending on the light, the shade changes a bit. Also, depending on the number of layers (I applied 2 layers in the pics below). And even so, my camera didn't help me much in showing it's real color. It is a bit less bright-pink than in the pictures, I can't really describe it, but soon I'll do a look using this as the lip color, and hopefully you will be able to identify the actual shade better.

Aici aveţi câteva swatch-uri. Vroiam să vă arăt că nuanţa se schimbă puţin în funcţie de lumină (şi numărul straturilor aplicate; în pozele de mai jos, am aplicat 2). Chiar şi aşa, aparatul meu nu m-a prea ajutat să surprind adevărata nuanţă; e mai puţin "roz turbat" decât se vede în poze, nu prea ştiu cum s-o descriu, dar plănuiesc să fac în curând un machiaj full, folosind acest ruj pe buze, şi atunci sper să-şi arate adevărata faţă :P.

Pros/ Plusuri: 

- creamy, but not the gross kind of creamy; the perfect, smooth kind of creamy! :)

- pretty long-lasting

- pretty packaging

- nice smell, to me it seems coconut-scented

- the price: around 16 Ron maybe?

- cremos, dar nu genul de cremos-dezgustător; ci tipul de ruj soft-cremos! :)

- destul de rezistent

- ambalaj frumos, elegant

- miros plăcut, mie mi se pare că miroase a cocos :D
- preţul: în jur de 16 Ron, parcă?

No cons from my side! Will buy some more Perfect Kiss lipsticks in the future./ Nu are minusuri din partea mea! Cu siguranţă voi mai cumpăra câteva nuanţe de Perfect Kiss pe viitor.

Review: Biorigine Shanti Spirit massage oil

   It's been a while once again! I'm behind on some reviews and other posts...once again. Well, let's leave the stories for another time and get to the point. I want to review a product I got from Biorigine, it's this recomforting massage oil with the sweet, fruity essence of Orange, Verbina and Ylang-ylang, that are famous from bringing a moment of joy and stimulating your enthusiasm. 

Now that I have almost finished the bottle, I can say a few words about it.

   Iar a trecut ceva timp! Iar eu iar am rămas în urmă cu nişte review-uri şi alte postări...Eh, hai să lăsăm poveştile pentru altă dată şi să trecem la subiect. Vreau să vă prezint un produs primit de la Biorigine, este vorba despre un ulei de masaj recomfortant, cu esenţe dulci, fructate de Portocale, Verbina şi Ylang-ylang, care îţi stimulează sentimentul de entuziasm, aducând un moment de bucurie...sau mai multe :)

   Acum că aproape am terminat toată sticla de ulei, pot spune câteva cuvinte despre produs.

I used it up mostly together with my boyfriend; in the past months, he's been complaining about back pain, so I spoiled him with massages a few times. I used to ask him the same favour, and plus I've used it once or twice as a body lotion. I liked the way it left the skin, feeling soft and silky. Also has a nice subtle shine on the skin, creates the illusion of healthy, slightly 'tanned' skin. It has a very strong smell though, which at first felt a bit suffocating, then I got used to it.

Cel mai mult l-am folosit împreună cu prietenul meu; în ultimele luni, s-a plâns tot timpul de dureri de spate, aşa că l-am răsfăţat cu câte-un masaj din când în când. I-am cerut câteodată aceeaşi favoare, în plus, am folosit de vreo două ori uleiul şi pe post de loţiune de corp. Îmi plăcea cum lăsa pielea, fină, catifelată. Lasă şi un luciu subtil pe piele, dă impresia pielii sănătoase şi uşor rumenite. Are însă un miros foarte puternic, care la început m-a cam speriat, fiind puţin sufocant, dar m-am obişnuit cu acest miros foarte repede.

Above, you can see the difference between the oily spot and normal dry skin. Has a bit of yellowish glow, makes the skin look alive.

Mai sus puteţi vedea diferenţa dintre porţiunea de piele 'unsă' cu acest ulei şi pielea curată, uscată. Are un luciu gălbui cu care scoate aspectul pielii în evidenţă.

Pros/ Plusuri: 

- skin absorbes it quickly

- with the components and consistence, it is used easily and has that calming effect

- the amount is ok (considering I received it for testing, otherwise I'd consider the price a bit high)

- intră repede în piele
- datorită componenţilor şi consistenţei, se foloseşte uşor şi are acel efect relaxant
- cantitatea e ok (luând în considerare că am primit produsul spre testare, altfel aş considera că e puţin cam înalt preţul)

Cons/ Minusuri:

- the smell, as I said, was a bit shocking at first, since it's very strong. I got used to it quickly, but maybe for some it can be kind of suffocating
- the price...I probably wouldn't pay around 80 Ron (almost 18 euros)  for a massage oil, even if the product is good. 

- mirosul după cum spuneam, a fost puţin şocant primele dăţi, deoarece e foarte puternic. M-am obişnuit cu el destul de repede, însă pentru alte persoane ar putea fi prea sufocant
- preţul....probabil nu aş plăti în jur de 80 Ron pentru un ulei de masaj, chiar dacă e un produs bun


Would I buy it? At the moment, being in a financial collapse, I wouldn't pay a lot of money for a massage oil. But I do like Biorigine ingredients, and saw some tempting products, I will probably stack up in the future. Meanwhile, I would love to test more of their products! / Aş cumpăra produsul? Momentan, fiind în mijlocul unui colaps financiar, nu aş da prea mulţi bani pe un ulei de masaj.. Dar îmi plac ingredientele Biorigine în general, şi am văzut câteva produse tentante, pe viitor probabil mă voi aproviziona. Între timp, mi-ar plăcea să mai testez vreun produs Biorigine!

April Wishlist!

   Hello again! I thought of throwing together an aproximate list of what I layed my eyes on lately and would want to have, correction, MUST have! Or at least something similar, in some of the cases :P

   Bună! M-am gândit să fac o listă cu unele lucruri pe care mi-am pus ochii şi mi le doresc, pardon, MUSAI să le procur! Sau cel puţin ceva similar în cazul unora dintre produse :P

As a huge fan of Supernatural, I want all the original dvds, I just wish I could find them in Romania...this country is always centuries behind on everything! x(

The Millenium book trilogy! LOVED the movies (the original Swedish ones), want the books as well, as soon as I find them all in English (or Swedish, 'cause I understand that as well).

Aaaaand right now, a strawberry pie! :D
